XiJinDu Weekly Music Festival Week 7

 

 

Another weekend and two more bands to shoot at XiJinDu in Zhenjiang China. Two more rock/metal bands from Beijing. First up this time was 爆炸起司乐队. They were a young band and slightly unusual in China as the lead singer was the drummer. I have never seen this before in China. They played a good set but like most new bands, they spoke so much between songs. Most mature bands just get things rocking, and not much talking, but I am sure as 爆炸起司乐队 matures, their sets will become much more tight.

 

 

 

 

Next up was 死于情人节乐队. They were a far more mature band and they rocked the large university crowd. I dont have much to say about them, as one of my lens broke during their set and I was concentrating a lot on the problem, so I don’t recall a lot of their set, but  hope I will get to shoot them in the future again.

 

 

 

 

 

During the bands set, while I was fighting with a broken len, I saw the crowd go a little crazy so I grabbed my Fuij XT1 and shoot this quick clip. You will have to excuse the poor audio though, I did not plan on shooting any video that night so I left my audio gear at home.
