XiJinDu Weekly Music Festival Week 11

 

 

After lots of rain in the last few weeks, the shows are finally back on and this weekend was a good one with two new bands playing at HIFI.

First band up this weekend was 降噪乐队 NoiseReduction.

 

 

 

 

 

This was the first time I had shot 降噪乐队 but they were good, a solid Chinese metal band.

 

 

 

Next up was 最已阵乐队 bestin team. I was expecting a pop band to be honest as the bass player walked onto the stage with his guitar in a Super Mario bag, but was wrong. They were another metal band. China has so many metal bands at the moment.

 

 

 

 

 

The band was solid like most Chinese metal bands. Perhaps this is the biggest problem in Chinese music right now, everyone sounds good but not great, and everyone looks very similar.  This was not a bad show and it was good to be shooting again after a little lay off due to the heavy rains. I am looking forward to next weekend.
