Top 5 Singer Photos in China for 2015

Now that winter has come to China, the outdoor music scene has come to an end for 2015. It is during this downtime that I reflect on my work and see what went right and wrong. During this process, I usually select what I consider to be my best work and critique it myself. Part of this process for me is selecting my top 5 photos for different shots I need to shoot for work. So for today, these are my top 5 vocalist shots in China for 2015.

Shooting the lead singers or vocalists is probably the easiest job in music photography. They almost always have good light hitting them, they seldom move around too quickly, and the only thing you need to concentrate on is making them look cool. These 5 photos were my favorite for the 2015 music season, in my opinion. But selecting just 5 photos out of hundreds and hundreds of bands I shot this year is so hard. I almost always end up selecting photos from bands that I have some kind of relationship with. I guess that is just human nature. The last set of images from 2015 that I will post is for the top 5 bands of 2015. This one will be extremely hard for me to decide on, and it might take me some time to narrow my decision to just five bands.
